Photos from aperture exercise
This exercise was to show how aperture has a effect on a image, aperture can be used in conjunction with shutter speed and iso to expose a image properly but is also used to create a DOF or depth of feild, this is how much of a image is in focus.
The higher the F number the less light is let through the lens and also the more the image is in focus, the lower the f number the more light that is allowed though and also the less amount of light is let through the lens.
Lenses can range between what there maximum aperture is more expensive lenses are able to get down to lower F stops sutch as F/1.8 this allows them to work in darker conditions without the need of flash, it also allows photographers to create stunning depth of field effects.
Here are some of my images from the test.
